Welcome to the family pages.
These Family related pages will be moved to another site eventually, which is still under construction. I hope to publish the new sites in late 2010. This www.g6asj.co.uk site will then be for radio related stuff only. I shall be updating this site more frequently during the coming months.
The pages included on this section of the site are:
Music Page
: Listening to and making our own.
Band page: The link to "Time Machine"
band page on this site.
Pets Page
: The link to
the pets page.
Clara's Page : Currently removed from both sites due to photo's being
published on other web sites and other publications by Hampshire County Council without my permission.
I was born on 12th July 1956 in Beverston Road Paulsgrove, Portsmouth, Hampshire in the main bedroom of the then "family home". My mothers name was Clara Bradley (Formally Wilson) and my fathers name was George Alfred Bradley. My parents had lived in Portsmouth for many years in the City Centre and Mum was a victim of the local bombings of WWII. Mum had worked in a soft drinks factory I think in North End (Portsmouth) at one time. My Father served in Malta on MTB's with the Royal Navy during WWII, and was at a Royal Naval Hospital in Dover for a short spell after WWII due to injuries received... He worked at a main Ford dealership in the City of Portsmouth after WWII, and also spent many years as a Steam Fitter in H.M.S. Vernon, which is now the Gunwarf Quays shopping complex on the shores of the harbour. I remember very little else about my fathers past.
We lost my dad in 1973, and more recently lost my mum after a short illness in December 1999.
I attended what was then Paulsgrove Secondary Modern School in Allaway Avenue from 1968 to 1971. It's now been renamed King Richard School in 1972 ish and had a lot of building changes done to it in recent years. I remember many of the teachers there, and enjoyed my time at the school. I am also registered on Friends Reunited and the Facebook web sites.
I have 3 older brothers. Les, Jeff and Tony, all of whom sadly I have no contact with.
I divorced my first wife Lisa in 1987, I gained care & control of our daughter Michele to which Lisa had no access. We have not heard from Lisa since 1987 she is believed to be living in the UK still but we don't really care. Michele is 24 in Sept 2010. I brought Michelle up as a single parent until 2001.
I am now married to my second wife, Caroline, we have a daughter Jessica (now 17 @ Sept 2010) they both moved in with me in the centre of Portsmouth in 2001. They brought with them their cats Mopsey and Smudge. They will be involved with a pets page in this site somewhere.
Caroline and Jess got involved with the International Festival of the Sea at the end of June 2005 and spent a lot of time wandering up and down the Historic Anchor Lane in the HM Naval Base in Portsmouth.
Jess in costume as Mary Anning
(a fossil hunter). With the smallest
mermaid in the world (boxed), created by Nina
Ayres. (taken during International Festival of the Sea 2005) Jess has also taken part
in the December 2007 & 08 Christmas Festivals in the Naval Base. She is also a
member of the Festival Players. I hope to have a link to the Festival Players
web site here soon.
Caroline
lived in Fareham with her parents until they passed on. Her Dad in March 97,
then Mum in Jan 2001. She moved in here in the centre of Portsmouth in October
2001. Jess was a result of a previous relationship with myself and Caroline,
once we had got back together in 2001 she "wasn't going to let me get away a
second time".
And Caroline... "Hurry up and take the bloody thing".
Caroline went to school at Fareham Park Secondary School. Jess attended Oak Meadow Primary, then when they moved to Pompey she went to Somers Park Primary School. She then attended St.Lukes Secondary School in Park Road Southsea. Until the end of the summer term, she then went to South Downs College (Waterlooville) in September 09 doing a BTec course in Music, studying Bass guitar and transferred to Portsmouth College for the start of the Sept 2010 term.
Caroline has 2 Brothers & 2 Sisters. Ian & Mandy (Twins) Liz and Jon. I hope to have other pages with some of Carolines family details on here shortly. Ian lives in Hailsham near Eastbourne (E Sussex) with his wife Lynn and 2 children (Tasha & Jack). Mandy lives in Bournemouth (Dorset) with her husband Pete and 4 children, (Daniel, Nicola, Grace & Harmony). Liz Lives in Fareham with her 3 children (James, Abbey & Jordan) and her partner Terry. The youngest brother Jon, lives in Fareham with his wife Sally. Jon & Sally recently added their first daughter (Alice May) to their side of the family..
Clara Leigh the grand daughter was born on 28th Feb 2005.
Some pics of Clara have been removed from these pages during a site update in Feb 2009 due to some pics of Clara being published on other web sites and in other publications without my permission by a department of Hampshire County Council. It's such a shame that professional people cannot listen and abide by my wishes, and decide to breach Copyright laws (and get away with it) which are supposed to protect my data. Huh!!!
Clara lives with us in the family home in central Portsmouth. We have a special Guardianship Order granted by the local Family court in September 06, sadly her parents seem to think they have some "rights" to Clara, they don't realise that their parental rights were given up when the Special Guardianship Order was granted... We have parental rights under the Special Guardianship Order. Some unfriendly person thinks that if he marries Clara's mother he'll have some "rights of contact" with Clara as he'll officially be her "step father" and also thinks he'll "be my son" due to marrying my eldest daughter, but as he also has a conviction and is on the sexual offenders register, he'll have no chance. Sadly because of this prat I wish to have no further contact with Clara's mother.
