The Pets page.

Fame at last. The pets are featured on the internet. We have several animals living with us at home:-

We have 2 Cats:

 SmudgeSmudge...  Mopsey

Smudge and Mopsey are now near enough 14-15 years old, and are (in their own years) getting older. Smudge is still very lively, but Mops spends a lot of time sleeping these days, although we do see some of her in the evenings when she wanders into our lounge to say (in her own little way) "Feed me" after feeding she then lays next to Caroline on the sofa for the rest of the evening. Both cats have got used to Clara now, and she sometimes plays with them both.

And Mopsey.

Smudge taking an interest in the Hamster.

The Hamsters name was "Monday". Coz Jess got him on a Monday. Quite simple really...

Sadly Monday popped his little clogs on 19th October 2005. (No other animals were involved in his passing.)

Both cats enjoy chilling out in the sun either on top of or in the cat box (den) on the back balcony. Until I disturb them with the camera. They are both photogenic indeed and will pose quite happily for a photo most of the time.

And here's some pics of the fish.

Sadly, we lost a lot of our stock of Fantail Fish during the summer of 2008. We had 5 very large fish in the tank and they had contracted some "fin rot" type of fungus thing all of a sudden, they sadly died after a couple of days. Before we could fish the course of treatment for them. We have replaced them now with 2 younger fish.

We don't have names for any of our fish.

The round up of animals living here include:-

2 Cats.

2 fantail Fish. (Coldwater)

I'd better not leave out or forget another little furry friend of ours, one Sam the Dog. Sam belongs to friends of ours that live close by, I have known Sam since he was less than a year old. Sam used to be a stray, and eventually settled down into family life with Alf, Graham and their daughter Julie. He came to stay with me when they went to Florida USA for 3 weeks a few years ago. He's such a softie underneath really, and always welcomes people into his home and greets visitors with a wagging tail and he's always welcome over here.
